A short range, chosen carefully
Axio Skin Co is run from Adelaide by Matt. We are not a laboratory and we don't pretend to be one. Our serums are made for us by an Australian cosmetic manufacturer, and what we bring to them is selection: which actives are worth paying for, at what concentration, in a formula short enough to read on the back of the bottle.
Why peptides
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Skin is full of them already. The ones we work with — copper tripeptide-1, acetyl octapeptide-3, and PDRN — have each earned a place in cosmetic formulation on the strength of published work rather than marketing.
We are careful about what we claim. Skincare is full of language borrowed from medicine, and we would rather tell you how something looks and feels than imply it does something to your body that we cannot prove.
How it's made
Our formulas are produced in Australia by a contract manufacturer, to their specification, and filled into our bottles. We publish the full ingredient list for every product, including the preservative system, because you should be able to see exactly what you are putting on your face.
